| Description: | These little baked tomatoes are great for appetizers or even entree's . Either way they are delicious, ! . I am giving a recipe that would feed 2 ! . | |
| Time: | 35 min (10 min to prepare, 25 min to cook) | |
| Meal type: | Appetizer | |
| Ethnicity: | Italian | |
| Number of Servings: | 2 | |
| Ingredients: | ||
|
1 cup cherry or grape tomatoes 1/2 teaspoon olive oil for each tomato 1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar for each tomato 1 tablespoon of cheese ( mozerella, parmesean, etc.) 1/2 cup crumbled bacon ( this is for all tomatoes, not just one) 3 teaspoons of salt and pepper ( or to your liking ) 4 tablespoons Sour cream |
||
| Directions: | ||
| Preheat oven at 350 degrees . While oven is heating up, grab the tomatoes. Wash them off. Once tomatoes are washed, drizzle olive oil , balsamic vinegar over the tomatoes . Sprinkle cheese. Sprinkle salt and pepper . Put on a pan . For the bacon, you can either, chop up in cube sized pieces (raw) , or you can bake or fry the bacon (crisply) before baking the tomatoes. After you figure out your bacon situation, take the "marinated" tomatoes and put them in the oven to bake. No longer then 20-25 mins. Once they are done, add extra cheese, and salt and pepper. Then Crumble bacon over melting cheese to stick. Sour cream is just for a " dip " or something tasty and moist to have with these delicous little tomatoes ! . Some side-dish options are, salad such as an : arugala salad or a tahbouleh salad. Also you could have some type of crispy bread. Or just some normal such as Focaccia . Or even a homemade biscuit is DELICIOUS with this recipe :) ! . |
