Directions:
In a 2-quart saucepan bring salted water to a boil.Add okra; blanch for 1 to 3 minutes.
Remove okra from boiling water and plunge into a bowl of ice water to chill.
In a small bowl combine oil, garlic, cumin, and salt.
Remove okra from ice water, dry and place in bowl or large plastic bag.
Pour oil mixture over okra; toss to coat.
Place okra in center of cooking grate.
Grill 7 to 9 minutes, turning once during cooking time.

Mix it all together and marinate at least 2 hours. Can either cook it on the grill as kebabs or stir-fry by itself. Enjoy.When I don't have sirloin tips, I use flank steak and it tastes just as good. Also, I substitute hot pepper sesame oil and also add cayenne pepper for more kick. The sugar allows the beef to caramelize a little (I tried using cane sugar once but it didn't caramelize).

Directions:
This is the amount of garlic stated in the recipe. Don't listen to this. I never do and I'm sure many people reading this don't either. Stick in as much garlic as you see fit!1. Heat oil, add onion and garlic. Fry until softened. Add remaining ingredients, (except mushrooms). Bring to the boil.
