Ingredients:
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg1
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup superfine sugar
1/2 stick Softened butter
1 large egg,beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large ripe bananas, peeled and mashed
Directions:
1.Preheat oven to 350*F.
2.Mix the flour,baking powder,nutmeg and salt in a bowl.
3.In a large bowl, cream the sugar and butter together untill it is light and fluffy, then add the beaten egg and vanilla.
4.Slowly add and stir the bowl of flour mixture into the butter mixture.
5. Mash up 2 large bananas in a bowl, then add the mashed bananas into the large bowl( which now contains the flour and butter mixture).
6.Pour the dough into a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan and distribute it evenly.
7. Bake for 1 hour or untill a toothpick inserted in the bread comes out clean.
