Ingredients:
1 each egg, slightly beaten
0.5 cups Milk
1 each Sunkist® lemon -grated peel
1 teaspoon Vegetable oil
0.125 teaspoon salt (optional)
0.5 cups all-purpose flour
Directions:
In a bowl, beat the egg, milk, lemon peel, oil and salt; add the flour, beating until smooth.
Divide batter equally among 4 well-buttered 6-ounce custard cups set on a baking sheet.
Bake at 450o F for 15 minutes; reduce oven temperature to 350o F and bake 20 minutes longer, or until popovers are firm and well browned.
Remove from custard cups and serve warm.
