|
2 cups cooked beans - kidney, read, black beans 1 cup rolled oats - old fashioned style 1 each medium onion grated 2 teaspoon sage 1 teaspoon thyme 1 teaspoon dijon mustard, salt and pepper to taste |

| Directions: | ||
| Mush everything together in a bowl with your hands. Form into small patties. Recipe should make eight to ten. Saute the patties in a little olive oil on both sides till brown. About 5 minutes or so. Serve warm. I make a simple sauce for them - soy mayo, a little ketchup, mustard, sweet pickle relish. A little dab on each pattie and a bit of fresh herb on top of that. Serve them with multigrain pancakes topped with fruit and soy yogurt. It's a great breakfast. |
