2 stick unsalted butter 2 1/4 cups bread flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 1/4 cups brown sugar 2 tablespoons milk 1 teaspoon kosher salt 1/4 cup sugar 1 egg plus 1 egg yolk 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla 2 cups chocolate chips |

| Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda. Pour butter in mixing bowl and add brown sugar and sugar while mixing. Add eggs, milk and vanilla while mixing. Mix until well blended or creamed. Add flour mix slowly, scaping down sides of bowl. Chill batter. Bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes. Use parchment paper on cookie sheet. |
