0.5 cups finely chopped walnuts or pecans 1 each Sunkist® lemon -grated peel 0.5 cups sweetened condensed milk 1 cups confectioners' sugar 48 each dates 0.25 cups finely chopped dried apricots, walnut or pecan quarters or halves (optional) |

| To prepare the dates for stuffing, cut each along one side and remove the pits. In a bowl, combine the confectioners' sugar, condensed milk, and lemon peel (mixture will be stiff). Stir in chopped nuts and apricots. Dust hands with additional confectioners' sugar and shape mixture into small balls (about 3/4 inch); stuff into prepared dates. Top each with a nut quarter or half. |
