Ingredients:
2 each ripe pears
1 cup cranberry juice
1 tablespoon sugar
1 pinch of grated lemon and orange rind
0.125 teaspoon ground cinnamon
0.125 teaspoon ground cloves
Directions:
Peel, core and halve pears lengthwise. In a medium size saucepan, combine all the ingredients; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes or until pears are tender.
This can be served warm over pancakes or waffles.
