1 3/4 pounds stewing steak 2 tablespoons seasoned flour 2 large onions, chopped 1 medium green pepper, sliced 1/4 pint beef stock 14 ounces chopped tomatos, can 2 teaspoons paprika 2 tablespoons tomato puree 1 pinch garni 1 dash salt and pepper 1/4 pint soured cream or natural yogurt 1 package egg noodles |

| Directions: | ||
| 1. Coat the meat in the seasoned flour. 2. In a large, non-stick pan, heat the oil and fry the steak until lightly browned. 3. Add the onion and pepper and cook for a further 2 minutes. 4. Add the stock, tomatoes, paprika, tomato puree and bouquet garni. Season to taste. Bring to a boil. 5. Add goulash mixture into the slow cooker. Cook on LOEW for 6-8 hours, HIGH for 3-4 hours or AUTO for 8-9 hours. 6. Remove bouquet garni. 7. Serve with egg noodles. Pour soured cream or yoghurt over the goulash. |
