2 each lbs/1 kg beef 3 each qts/3 l water 2 each Potatoes 2 each Carrots 1 each parsnip 1 each celery root 1 each pepper 1 each onion 5 each juniper berries (optional) 1 each bay leaf (optional), salt |

| Drain the meat that has boiled with the vegetables in the soup and cut in bite sizes. Place on a plate and garnish with the vegetables: potatoes, carrots, parsnip. Pour a little oil, vinegar/lemon juice and a tablespoon of the boiling liquid. Add a little pepper (to taste) and serve with a salad or pickles. | ||
