1 1/2 lb sirloin, rib eye, or top loin steak 6 tbsp cornstarch, divided 8 tbsp Soy Sauce, divided 2 tbsp dry sherry 2 each cloves garlic, minced 2 cups water 2 tsp white vinegar 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper 4 tbsp oil, divided 4 each carrots, cut diagonally into thin slices 2 each onions, chunked and separated 2 each green bell pepper, chunked |

| Cut beef across grain into strips, then into 1 1/2 in squares. Combine 4 tbsps cornstarch, 1 tbsp teriyaki sauce, sherry and garlic in medium bowl; stir in beef. Let stand 30 minutes. Meanwhile, combine water, remaining 2 tbsp cornstarch, 6 tbsp teriyaki sauce, vinegar and red pepper; set aside. Heat 2 tbsp oil in hot wok or large skillet over high heat. Add beef and stir fry 1 minute; remove. Heat remaining oil in sam pan. Add vegetables, stir-fry 4 minutes. Add beef and teriyaki sauce misture; cook and stir until sauce boils and thickens. |
