4 pound pork shoulder or butt 1/2 C water 1 bottle favorite BBQ sauce |

| Directions: | ||
| Option 1 The night before serving this dish, place thawed pork into a 5 quart or larger crock pot. Add water and season with salt and pepper. Turn on low and let cook overnight. The next morning, remove pork from the crockpot and shred it. Empty crockpot of any juices. Return pork to crock pot and pour entire bottle of BBQ sauce over the pork. Cook on low all day. Serve with hamburger buns or hoagie rolls. Option 2 Place pork in 5 quart or larger crockpot. Season with salt and pepper. Pour 1/2 bottle of BBQ sauce over pork. Turn on low and cook all day. Thirty minutes before serving, remove the pork from the crockpot and shred it. Return pork and remaining BBQ sauce to the crockpot and heat through. Serve as option 1. |
