1.5 lb ground beef 0.5 lb Italian sausage 1 small onion, chopped 2 clove garlic 2 tablespoon sugar 2 tsp salt 1 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp dried basil 1 pinch red pepper flakes 2 can Italian tomatoes (16 oz.) 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.) 1 can tomato paste (6 oz.) |

| 1. Brown beef and sausage. Drain and add to slow-cooker. 2. Add remaining ingredients and cook on LOW for 8-12 hours. 3. For thicker sauce, cook on HIGH last 2 hours, removing lid for last hour. |
