1 lb beef round steak 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce 2 tablespoon dehydrated onions 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic (from jar) 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1 pinch pepper 1 pinch ground ginger 1 large green pepper (cut into strips) 1/4 cup cold water 1/2 tablespoon corn starch 1 hot cooked noodles or rice |

| 1) cut beef into strips 2) in a skillet, brown beef in vegetable oil until cooked 3) transfer beef into crock pot 4) combine all the rest of the ingredients except green peppers, cold water and cornstarch in a bowl and mix well 5) pour mixture over beef 6) cover and cook 6 hours 7) add green peppers 8) cook one more hour 9) combine the cold water and cornstarch to make a paste in a small bowl 10) stir into the liquid in slow cooker 11) cook until mixture thickens 12) serve over noodles or rice |
