Basic Pancakes
Time:

0.5 each cps. whole wheat...1 tablespoon cold pressed...
0.25 teaspoon salt
0.75 each cps. soymilk
3 teaspoon baking powder
Directions:
Combine the dry ingredients in one bowl.Whip the soymilk and oil for about one minute,and then pour into the flour mixture.
Heat your griddle and then brush with more oil, griddle or pan must be hot.
Pour 1/4cp of batter for each pancake and cook for about 3 mins,but check so as not to burn them.
Bean and Almond Salad

2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons cider vinegar,...
Directions:
Wash, string and slice the beans and cook them until tender.Drain well and leave to cool.
Shred the almonds finely.
Melt the margarine in a saucepan, add the onion, almonds and sultanas and sauté them until the onion is tender.
Combine the oil, vinegar and seasoning.
Mix together the beans, onion mixture, tomatoes and dressing in a bowl.
Serve chilled.

Directions:

5. Serve on top of a bed of lettuce, and garnish with reserved avocado.
6. Lettuce can be eliminated and this dish can be served as a side salad instead of a main dish.
