3 each medium size round tomatoes (ripe) 1 each clove garlic -or- 1 small onion, salt/pepper 1 pinch oregano |

| Directions: | ||
| Slice tomatoes (if you want them peeled boil some water, plunge them in for 3 minutes, take them out and peel). In a microvawe bowl, pour a teaspoonful of olive oil, 1 layer tomatoes, chopped garlic , oregano salt and pepper, then another layer with the same procedure. Nuke 6 minutes at maximum heat (no grill) Pour on pasta or couscous. In Italy we use either garlic/oregano or onion/basil tomato sauces. Pepper can be replaced with other non aromatic hot spices. |
