Description:
Time: 10 min (5 min to prepare, 5 min to cook)
Meal type: Sauces & Seasonings
Ethnicity: Eastern European
Number of Servings: 3
Ingredients:
2 cups of Basil ( or 1 cup basil and 1 cup Spinnach)
0.25 cup pine nuts
0.25 cup firm tofu (keep some close by to thicken), lots of garlic cloves. (10 is good)
2 tablespoon Tahini, olive oil, salt
Directions:
Compive basil, pine nuts, tofu, garlic, lemon juice and Tahini in blender. Blend untill smooth. You will probably need to add more lemon juice untill it starts to process. Add salt and Olive Oil too if you like. Toss in small chunks of tofu while blending if you want to thicken sauce. Pour over some freshly cooked angel hair, toss arround and serve hot.

You may toast the pine nuts to bring out the flavor of the pine nuts. You may also replace pine nuts with walnuts. Omit oil and replace with more lemon juice to lessen fat content. I'm only reccomending angel hair pasta, its my favorite, as well as Lazlows.
