1 cup butter 3/4 cup finely chopped onion 12 cups bread crumbs 1 1/2 cups chopped celery 1 tablespoon salt 1 teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon sage, thyme or marjoram 1 poultry seasoning, to taste |

| Directions: | ||
| Melt butter in large skilet. Add onion and celery and cook until yellow. Stir in come bread crumbs. Heat while stirring. Add remaining ingredients, less other bread crumbs. Pour over other bread crumbs in large bowl. Can add broth to make it more moist. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. |
