1 each note - plantains shouldn't be squishy/too soft to slice proplerly... as they don't slice well/fry well 1 each A box of brown sugar (so you can use as much as you want) 1 each As many browned plantains as you want to make 1 each Big bottle of corn oil, palm oil or coconut oil 1 each Lots of Corn 1 each Big Pot |

| * Slice browned plantains chip style while heating a pot of corn oil to bubbling point... (or palm or coconut oil)... * When oil is to bubbling point pour in as much brown sugar as you want and stir well... * Then add the plantains and deep fry until they're as deep fried as you want them... note - the brown sugar will coat each and every plantain fully and when cooling will become "candied plantains"... They are really good - I've made them before for get togethers... |
