6 .5 3 large onions, sliced 5 tablespoon butter 1 tablespoon flour 1 cup hot water 0.5 tsp Bermuda honey 4 cups beef broth 1 cup dry white wine 1 cup grated parmesan cheese 1 salt & pepper to taste |

| Directions: | ||
| Dry sliced bread in oven at 200F. Saute onion in 4tbsp butter, slowly until golden. In a separate heavy saucepan, melt 1 tbsp butter. Add flour and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes stirring constantly. Do not let brown. Slowly stir in hot water. Add onions, honey, broth and wine. Bring to a boil. Lower heat, cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add salt and pepper. Float bread on soup. Sprinkle with cheese. Broil a few minutes until the cheese is hot and melted. |
